1942, the former company of Shandong Shanbo Electric Machine Group Co., Ltd., Boshan Motor Factory, was founded and started its business for manufacturing small DC generators and 3 phase asynchronous motors.

1951, became one of the earliest companies to develop and manufacture vehicle starter motors and generators in domestic industry.

1953, became the first company to manufacture gear reducer three phase asynchronous motors in domestic industry.

1956, became the first company to manufacture tracked vehicle motors in domestic industry and has completed incorporation of Dacheng Motor Factory into Boshan Motor Factory.

1957, became the first company to develop and manufacture DC micro motors in domestic industry.

1962, started manufacturing the first batch of 3 phase asynchronous motors in domestic industry.

1963 March, the design team of small 3 phase asynchronous motors took photo (Mr. Jiang Zemin was the group leader).

1978, our micro motor won National Science and Technology Award.

1979, as the leader factory of national joint design team started developing YCJ gear reducer three phase asynchronous motor.

1984, our micro motor won National Silver Award.

1986, cooperated with Switzerland KISSLING company to jointly produce U series high precision geared motor.

1992, became the first company to develop and manufacture motorcycle starter motors in domestic industry.

1999 (the 50thAnniversary of the National Day), our vehicle motors were awarded by Capital Military Command, Commission of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense (COSTIND) and Ministry of Machine-Building Industry.

2002, has obtained “Weapons and Equipment Research and Production Certificate” granted by COSTIND.

2006, has passed on-site inspection by COSTIND for “Weapons and Equipment Research and Production Certificate”.

2007, has passed and obtained Secondary Confidential Qualification Certification for Weapons Equipment Research and Production Unit, and elected as vice-chairman unit for Micro Motor Branch of China Electrical Equipment Industry Association (CEEIA).

2008, has passed qualification review of undertaking for China's People's Liberation Army equipment production.

2009 (the 60thAnniversary of the National Day), our vehicle motors were awarded and praised by General Armaments Department and our company was rated as an advanced unit of equipment support in National Day Parade.

2014, our project of permanent magnet brushless motor for military use was appraised as provincial scientific and technological achievement.

2015, elected as the vice chairman unit for Micromotor Sub-association of China Electrical Equipment Industry Association (CEEIA).
